We actively collaborate with the broader Duke University community and the engineering field to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion for everyone, including first-generation students, LGBTQ+ individuals, and people from underrepresented backgrounds. We recognize the unique challenges that first-generation students may face and are dedicated to providing mentorship, guidance, and resources to help them succeed in their academic and professional pursuits.
